About Mayor David Jackson

David Jackson was elected Mayor in November 2010 and began serving the citizens of Madisonville on January 1, 2011.
He is the son of Kenneth (deceased) and Esther Jackson of Sebree, and is a graduate from the University of Kentucky. David is both a certified public accountant and a certified management accountant.
He married Leigh Ann Adkins in 1986 and they have two children - Jordan and Chloe. Jordan is a freshman at Madisonville North Hopkins High School and plays in the band. Chloe is in the fourth grade at Jesse Stuart Elementary School and is a cheerleader. Leigh Ann is the Office Manager at David W. Jackson, CPA on South Main Street.
David is also a licensed minister with the Church of God (Cleveland, TN) and pastors Living Waters Church of God on Dulin Street.
He enjoys swimming at the YMCA, biking, running and kayaking. He also holds a private pilot's license and believes that Madisonville has the best airport in the region.
As Mayor, David believes that he and all employees of the City are the servants of the people. He looks forward to partnering with the citizens and businesses of Madisonville to create growth and opportunity.
