The City of Madisonville operates a drop-off recycling center for its residents. Recyclable products taken at the Center include:
- Aluminum cans
- Paper, cardboard, office paper, newspaper
- Plastic, milk jugs, clear bottles, colored jugs
- Tin cans
The City of Madisonville is currently not equipped to accept CFL bulbs for recycling. However, our local Lowe's Home Improvement Store has made it convenient for you to recycle your CFL bulbs by placing a bin in the front of the store. The recycling center is open Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Attendants are available to assist with drop-offs during noramal operating hours.
The recycling center does not accept tree limbs, brush, household appliances, yard wastes or other items such as this. To discard of these types of items, please put them out to the curb on your regular trash pick-up day and the truck for each one of these items will pick them up.
