The Madisonville Summer Recreation Program exists to provide participants with a safe, fun environment for leisure and recreational activities.  

The program is intended for a limited number of participants between the ages of 6 and 17 who follow directions and respond appropriately to adult supervision in large groups.  Through this program, the staff will devote themselves to insure that the goals and objectives of this program are achieved. 

Paritipants:  
1st - 5th Grade
Browning Springs Site (located in the Family Investment Center across from the Housing Authority building)

6th - 10th Grade
Carney Center Site (on Martin Luther King Blvd)

Hours:  9:00 AM to 2:00 PM Monday - Friday (Hours may vary on field trip days)

Activities:  Games, arts and crafts, movies, guest speakers, swimming, field trips and more.

Food Service:  The Hopkins County YMCA will continue to provide free lunches through the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Summer Food Service Program.  Program Staff will be trained by the YMCA for recording and distribution.

Print a copy from PDF format by clicking here.  Please turn in your completed registration form the morning of the first day of camp to the site where your child will be (Carney Center or Family Investment Center). 

Information
The Summer Youth Programs will begin on June 4, 2013 at the Larry Carney Center and another site to be determined.  The Programs are closed on July 4th and will continue the following day.  The final day for the Program is July 25, 2013.  Remember each child must be signed up either before the program begins or on the first day (June 4, 2013).  Registration forms can be found on the website, at the Larry Carney Center, and at the Family Investment Center.  Each site will have registration forms available on the first day.
