Madisonville Renaissance

The City of Madisonville, Madisonville Renaissance Program is a KY Certified Renaissance on Main program and utilizes The Main Street Four-Point Approach™ to commercial district revitalization. The program partners with the National Trust for Historic Preservation and the Kentucky Heritage Council to enhance, and promote, downtown revitalization.

The Madisonville Renaissance program sponsors such programs as the Annual Friday Night Live Summer Concert Series and the Annual Fall Window Painting Contest in an effort to showcase all that the downtown has to offer. With period lighting, the cabin of a former governor, themed fire hydrants, and brick sidewalks, visitors to downtown Madisonville can enjoy fine dining, antique shopping, lodging opportunities and a myriad of other services.
