Finance Office Receiving Property Tax Payments

Business has increased tremendously at the City Municipal Building over the past two weeks with clerks receiving property tax payments from customers who are eager to cash in on the early payment discount.

In late September, the City of Madisonville Finance Office began mailing out property tax bills to property owners residing within the city limits.  All property tax bills are due by November 30, 2007, but customers are eligible to take advantage of a 2% discount for payments made by October 31st.  A penalty will apply to payments made after November 30th.  Payments should be made at the City of Madisonville Municipal Building located at 37 E. Center Street.  Customers can also take advantage of our online payment methods by logging on to www.madisonvillegov.com.

If you have questions regarding property tax payments, please contact the City of Madisonville Finance Office at 270-824-2111.
