Electric Department Installs Automated Electric Meters

The City of Madisonville Electric Department has recently installed approximately 1200 Automated Electric Meters.  This cost-saving project offers several added benefits to the city including the ability to retrieve monthly meter information from a remote location, thereby eliminating the necessity of visiting the meter each month. 

The department continues to install 200 meters monthly and hopes to complete the project within 36 months.
