City of Madisonville Looking For Possible Film Locations

The City of Madisonville, Office of Community Development, is working with the Kentucky Film Office to identify possible filming locations in our area. Of particular interest are areas/properties such as woods, lakes, mansions, older homes, cabins, warehouses, schools, farms, unique buildings, old jails, and old hospitals.

Currently a list is being compiled by the City of Madisonville Office of Community Development, which will be provided to the Kentucky Film Office of potential sites that could be used in future films, advertisements, or television. The list will contain such information as the history of the property, current owners, and photographs.

Property owners wishing to have their property considered for submission as a potential filming location should contact Daron Jordan, Community Development Director at (270) 824-2195 or through email at djordan@madisonvillegov.com.

All inquiries welcome.
